Sigma's module for tracking payments to vendors is comprehensive yet streamlined and fully-tested for to-the-penny accurate reporting. Accountants can create a "Payment Voucher" used in Sigma to process Vendor payments. But regular purchasing users (or even your Vendors should you desire) also can just click a button to upload, post, and attach the vendor's invoice for a PO. That queues a PV for the accounting team to review and submit for payment. Payment vouchers can reflect additional charges, such as freight, that vendors assess post-PO and calculate sales tax on them. Denominate payment in Vendor's currency if different than the project currency, and accrue Sales tax to Use Tax using PVs. And, PVs can process vendor credits that will bring every PO balance to zero and be reflected in the Accounts Payable Report. Sigma also boasts a Cross-Project Payment Voucher Status Report, which allows accounting staff to keep tabs on invoices across all projects in the system and avoid missing payment due dates. Finally, Sigma has interfaces to sync with certain payment systems (QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, and other systems).
